Pacific Rim Kaiju Battle

Pacific Rim Kaiju Battle is a fighting game with augmented reality where you'll be in charge of controlling all three Jaeger —giant robots— from the movie Pacific Rim and you'll face off against three of the Kaijus —the giant monsters. These clashes take place in your own room: on your desk, on the floor, or wherever you want.

The only thing you'll need to do in order to play is focus the camera on your Android onto any surface for a few seconds. Straight away, you'll see how your smartphone's screen transforms showing you destroyed buildings, flaming cars, and your Jaeger next to the enemy Kaiju. You'll get to choose from Gipsey Danger, Cherno Alpha, and Striker Eureka.

Combat in Pacific Rim Kaiju Battle is almost excessively simple. You'll only get four different buttons: two for defending yourself and another pair for attack moves. Truth be told, you'll be able to win almost all fights just by attacking. After making a few combo hits, you'll also get to use special attacks.

Pacific Rim Kaiju Battle is a fighting game that could be improved, but it's still got a lot of charm, most of all because it lets you control the Jaeger from Pacific Rim, and watch them come to life crawling all over the floor in your room or on top of your dining room table.
